Two Australian IT recruitment firms have joined forces which will bring together expertise to provide service support across all IT&T recruitment areas.
Sapphire Technologies and Abraxas announced the merger on Monday, along with a commitment to provide greater IT recruitment and consulting services.
“The joining of these two recruitment brands is a move towards offering superior employment services to the IT industry,” said COO of Sapphire Technologies, Malcolm Dunford.
Sapphire Technologies and Abraxas have shared the same parent company, Vedior, since the global acquisition of Vedior by Randstad Holding in July.
“As sister companies in Australia, we see a great amount of logic in coming together locally to provide best-in-market IT recruitment services and increased access to a network of IT professionals that spans the globe,” said the managing director of Abraxas, Jonathan Hughes.
Both businesses will continue as unique brands in the market in the short term.
