So here’s a very quick update for BlackBerry and iPhone users of Twitter.
Today, the best Twitter options for BlackBerry aren’t even publically available: TweetGenius and SocialScope. There are other apps worth a try as well, namely TwitterBerry, Tiny Twitter and BlackBird--even Viigo, one of my favorite “lifestyle apps” for BlackBerry, recently added Twitter functionality. But none holds a candle to TweetGenius or SocialScope, at least in my experience.
The iPhone Twitter game’s not so clear-cut; there are a number of quality applications available on Apple’s iTunes App Store, and I won’t get into all of them here, but in my experience the best are Tweetie (link opens iTunes), TwitterFon and Twitterific (link opens iTunes).
What’s your favorite mobile Twitter app and why? Both Ashton and Oprah don’t seem to have taken Twitter mobile quite yet--neither is using a mobile app that’s recognized by Twitter at least, though Kutcher does employ TweetDeck occasionally...
Oh yeah, I use Twitter too: Follow me @ASacco and this blog @MobileWorkHorse
