SYDNEY, Australia – 1 June 2009 - Fuji Xerox today announced the availability of the DocuPrint C2120, a compact colour laser printer that is designed for small workgroups who require high quality documents fast.

The DocuPrint C2120 delivers impressive crisp and sharp text, graphic or images at 600 x 600 dpi (multi-level). Working at speeds of up to 18 printed pages per minute (20 pages per minute in monochrome), the DocuPrint C2120 is an affordable office printing solution with comprehensive networking, security and device management features.

Brad Monsbourgh, Communications Manager of Fuji Xerox Printer Channel, Australia and New Zealand, said, “The DocuPrint C2120 is a cost efficient colour laser printer that will help you make the right impression with its high quality prints. Besides offering advanced networking and productivity features, the DocuPrint C2120 provides a high degree of security for users in a workgroup environment.”

Print Quality

In its continuous commitment towards the environment, the DocuPrint C2120 uses Fuji Xerox’s proprietary Emulsion Aggregation (EA-HG) which delivers superior print quality. This is further enhanced with technological features built into the device such as Natural Image Enhancement to correct the contrast and colour balance images to achieve better results and 3D Accurate Colour Mapping to improve colour saturation by optimising the printing of text, photos and graphics in colour.

Efficient Management

Fuji Xerox has simplified the management of the DocuPrint C2120 with its new user interface design and the CentreWare Internet Service management software which gives users quick desktop access to a printer’s job status, job accounting records, email alerts, printer installation and network administration. The Fuji Xerox Auditron function allows users to control usage, set limits on print volume and grant access to colour printing for different users.

Comprehensive Networking

The DocuPrint C2120 is IPv6 compatible and this eliminates the need to set up an IP address for device configuration and management. It supports Web Services on Device and this makes setting up the DocuPrint C2120 a breeze on Windows Vista. Users running a Citrix network environment are supported by the Citrix Presentation Server for local or WAN printing.

Advanced Security Management

The DocuPrint C2120 offers advanced security features such as Secure Print, Control Panel Lock, IPsec data encryption and IP Filter. Besides allowing users to encrypt data for transmission over a network, users can store a confidential print job using Secure Print where the job is printed upon entering a password on the control panel.
