Primus Telecom connects first business to the NBN

Tasmanian pharmacy signs up to 100mbit deal

The first business customer has connected to the NBN in Tasmania. Galloway’s Pharmacy in Scottsdale has become the first business to sign up to the network.

Pharmacist, Stephen Love, said he chose Primus Telecom to connect to the NBN because of its focus in the business market.

“I've taken a 100mbit speed offer, that's actually very close to the cost of my previous ADSL2+ connection,” he said in a statement.

He also said the network would provide the health industry with increased potential.

“The NBN will provide huge potential, for lots of new applications, especially in health which is of interest to me being a pharmacist,” he said.
