Enterprise management software provider, Kaseya, has appointed Dermot McCann as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
In the role, McCann will be responsible for the planning and execution of the company’s business expansion across the managed services and enterprise markets in the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Kaseya senior vice president APAC, Martin Ashby, said McCann would bring experience, knowledge and understanding of the Australian and New Zealand market into his new role as the company looks to grow in the region.
According to McCann, by leveraging the company’s investment in the region, including the global support centre in Auckland, regional research and development and rapidly expanding sales, professional services and support teams paired with technology that supports the IT service management requirements of large enterprise environments, Kaseya will support existing client business in the coming years.
McCann is originally from Ireland and moved to Australia in 1999 where he took on the position of CIO for Logicalis Australia, later acquired by IBM, with which he held a number of positions.
