Vodafone reduces NZ roaming prices

Aussies travelling in NZ can purchase choose from four data roaming packs

Vodafone has cut prices for Aussie customers travelling to New Zealand with the launch of NZ Data Roaming Packs from 8 July this year.

The telco has launched four new packs which can be added to both postpaid voice and mobile broadband services for both business and consumer customers.

The packs start from $25 for 100 Megabytes (MB) of data, $50 for 300MB, $100 for one Gigabyte (GB) and $200 for 2GB.

Vodafone head of postpay, Jason Blair, said the increased uptake of smartphones had resulted in a growing reliance on staying connected to friends and being able to access the internet while overseas.

“New Zealand is the most visited international destination for Vodafone’s customers, so whether they are travelling for business, looking to hit the slopes or heading over the ditch to share in all the rugby action, they can stay connected,” he said in a statement.
