Internet service providers (ISPs), Internode and iiNet, have scored 94 and 91 per cent respectively for customer service in the annual Roy Morgan Research ISP survey.
This was slightly up from last year’s survey where 92 per cent of Internode customers who participated in the study were either “very” or “fairly” satisfied with the ISP's level of customer service. iiNet had an 89 per cent satisfaction rating in June 2011.
Conducted with 6000 Australian internet customers during the six months to November 2011, other top rated ISPs were OptusNET and TPG which both scored 80 per cent.
Telstra Bigpond scored 72 per cent, while Dodo scored a 63 per cent rating.
Vodafone Hutchison Australia’s (VHA) ‘3’ scored 68 per cent. Vodafone, however, was the lowest rated ISP with only 58 per cent customer satisfaction.
