Kogan launches cheap Android tablets running Ice Cream Sandwich

New cheap Kogan Agora 10" tablet runs Android 4.0

Online discount Australian retailer Kogan has launched a tablet that runs version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) of Google's Android mobile platform.

The Kogan Agora 10" tablet is available in two models: $179 for an 8GB model and $199 for a tablet with 16GB of onboard storage.

The tablet has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing camera for video calls. It also has one USB port and a microSD card slot that lets a user expand storage by up to 32GB. As well as a headphone jack, the Agora 10" has an HDMI port for connecting to a TV or monitor.

The new tablet offers Wi-Fi network support, but doesn't have 3G connectivity.

The retailer expects to start shipping both models of the Kogan Agora 10", which are available for purchase now, on 25 June.
