Australia’s superannuation funds continued to rally in August, with the sector recording its sixth straight month of growth, according to research group SuperRatings.
The sixth month streak followed six consecutive months of declines, SuperRatings said.
Funds have gained 14.3% between March and August, compared to a loss of 18.5% between September and February.
And while the return over the past three years until August was -0.2%, funds should be recording positive growth starting next month, the researchers said.
