Amcom closes $5.3m IP Systems buy

Amcom Telecom (ASX:AMM) has announced it has completed the $5.3 million acquisition of IP Systems.

Amcom said the acquisition had been specifically designed to deliver an earnings accretive outcome for shareholders.

“This is an important acquisition for Amcom, which will enable us to expand our capabilities through IP Systems’ highly scalable national voice and data network,” Amcom CEO Clive Stein said.

He added that the company aims to release its FY10 results on August 24.
