Students advise Conroy on cyber-safety

A contingent of 50 students from across Australia today met with communications minister Stephen Conroy to advise the government on cyber-safety.

Students from both primary and secondary schools, as well as their parents and teachers, convened in Canberra for the 2010 Cyber-Safety and Youth Advisory Group (YAG) Summit.

It is the second year running for the YAG Summit.

YAG members have also been asked to test the new Help Button internet safety initiative, providing feedback before the final version is released.
