Seven Network (ASX:SEV) subsidiary vividwireless this week launched its debut Perth Wimax network.
Vividwireless had already soft-launched services on its infrastructure, which the operator is billing as Australia’s first 4G wireless broadband network.
The company went from scratch to a full launch in six months, CEO Martin Mercer said, a result which could not have been achieved without the support of major vendor Huawei and its other suppliers.
Harvey Norman and Dick Smith has meanwhile been added to Vividwireless’ distribution channels.
