Board veteran Graham Bradley to head up BCA

The Business Council of Australia (BCA) has elected experienced board member Graham Bradley as its new president, for a two year term.

Bradley is currently director of Optus parent SingTel, and serves as chairman of HSBC Bank Australia, Stockland, Boart Longyear, Anglo American Australia and Po Valley Energy.

He also served as managing director of Perpetual Limited for eight years, and as a partner at management conslultancy firm McKinsey and Company.

Bradley replaces Greig Gailey, who has reached the end of his term. But Gailey will remain on the BCA board as vice president for at least one year.

Wesfarmers CEO Richard Goyder and BP Australasia president Gerry Hueston have also joined the BCA board.
