GrainCorp back in black in FY09

Grain industry service provider GrainCorp (GNC) has swung back into the black in FY09, posting a $63.1 million full-year profit.

The company, which ended FY08 $19.9 million in the red, saw its EBITDA grow $114 million to $165 million over the same period.

But managing director Mark Irwin has warned that continuing drought conditions in eastern Australia have reduced grain production levels.

GrainCorp has declared a fully franked dividend of $0.07 per share.
