Gambling company Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) has commenced a global search for a replacement for managing director Robert Nason, who has announced plans to leave the company and take up a position at Telstra.
Nason has been managing director of Tabcorp’s wagering division for three years, but will leave for a senior executive position within Telstra on December 31, Tabcorp announced today.
CEO Elmer Funke Kupper will take over Nason’s day-to-day tasks until a replacement can be appointed, the company said.
“Robert has…led the wagering business through difficult days [and] positioned the business well to succeed in a rapidly changing marketplace,” Kupper said.
