Aerospace and military optics supplier Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) announced it has acquired a remote weapon systems business for an undisclosd sum.
EOS’s US defense subsidiary has acquired the weapon systems business of Recon Optical, the company said.
EOS and Recon have been collaborating on weapons guidance systems since 1999. producing units for the US army for deployment in Iraq.
The acquisition will allow EOS to boost its production, and means two of the systems in its product range now consist entirely of EOS parts.
