ISS Group appoints new CEO

Software developer ISS Group (ASX:ISS) has appointed a new CEO, Tony Hanavan, to take over the day-to-day operations of the company.

Founder Shane Attwell has decided to focus on his strategic planning responsibilities, and as a result has relinquished the CEO role but stay on as managing director.

“It has become increasingly difficult for me to maintain a dual focus on day to day operations and long-term strategic direction,” Attwel said.

Hanavan has been running the Australian division of the ISS Group for two years, gaining a strong understanding of the ISS Group’s operations, Attwell said.

ISS Group provides software solutions for the global energy, minerals and manufacturing industries.
