Intermoco wins 15-year smart utilities contract

Utilities management provider Intermoco (ASX:INT) has announced it has won a 15-year contract to provide managed electricity, voice and data services in a Melbourne estate.

The company – with its technology partner NEC – has been contracted by Hamton for its Melbourne residential project, Intermoco said.

The contract is expected to be worth $3 million over the first five years, the company added, with earnings expected to be reflected in its balance sheet from 4Q10.

Intermoco has also won two contracts to provide water metering services for regional councils.
