Panorama Synergy research approved by UK tech agency

Photonics technology developer Panorama Synergy (ASX:PSY) has announced that its research into Magneto Photonic Crystal technology has received a thumbs-up from the UK’s innovation agency.

The Technology Strategy Board has accepted and approved the findings of Panorama’s proprietary technology, in a move that “de-risks the initial steps of product development,” Panorama said.

The feasibility study was partly funded by the Board.

“In what is arguably Panorama Synergy’s most significant milestone, the question of whether our revolutionary technology is theoretical or practical has been finally set aside,” Panorama CEO Terry Walsh said.

Only around 10% of global applicants have their projects approved by the Board, Walsh added.
