Hostech acquires Anittel for $2.5m

Telecom services company Hostech (ASX:HTC) has acquired IT and telecom company Anittel for $2.5 million.

The company paid 87.5 million Hostech shares at 2 cents per share, as well as $730,000 in cash for the acquisition.

Hostech said it was also close to acquiring Accord Technologies, Axxis Technology and the assets of Aspirence, adding that the purchase price for these companies will be revealed shortly.

Anittel currently has 6,000 customers in 16 industries, and is certified to supply IT solutions from Microsoft, Telstra, HP, Cisco, IBM and other major vendors.
