SingTel’s (ASX:SGT) Optus has priced HK$1 billion ($128.4 million) worth of 10-year convertible note distributed to institutional investors.

The notes carry an annual coupon of 3.825%, and will mature on June 10, 2020. They have been issued as part of Optus’ €2 billion ($2.9 billion) Euro Medium Term Note Programme, which was announced in July last year.

The proceeds from the note issue will be used for general corporate purposes, Optus said.
