Audiovisual recording technology equipment company Ambertech (ASX:AMO) has rejected media reports the company is the subject of an investigation by the ACCC.
Media reports alleging breaches of the Trade Practices Act are “baseless and factually incorrect,” the company said, as is the suggestion that the alleged breaches are being probed by the ACCC.
Ambertech said it had confirmed directly with the ACCC that no investigation is taking place.
“The company is unaware of any motive for this false trade press reporting,” it said in a statement.
