Hostech acquires Albury IT company

Telecom services provider Hostech (ASX:HTC) has acquired Albury-based IT company Netrics as part of its expansion drive into regional Australia.

Hostech did not disclose the terms of the purchase, but said it was “a small acquisition.”

The company has now acquired seven companies in 2010, including D2K last week.

“Local operators like Netrics provide a depth of connection to their customers that bigger companies can't hope to achieve,” Hostech executive chairman Peter Kazacos said.

“Our focus is to build on that strength with carrer-grade technology offerings that will probide a richer set of products to the people of Albury, and throughout regional Australia.”
