ipernica, Sensis sign MoU for reseller deal

Technology and IP group ipernica (ASX:IPR) has announced that its subsidiary, NearMap, has entered into an MoU for a joint reseller agreement with Sensis.

Under the binding agreement expected to emerge within 90 days, Sensis and NearMap will be able to onsell either company's products to government or commercial clients in Australia or New Zealand.

“This agreement will provide NearMap.com with the opportunity to engage with the vast network of Sensis clients across government and industry,” NearMap CEO Simon Crowther said.

Sensis meanwhile intends to use NearMap's PhotoMap aerial imagery for its range of B2B products, including in-car navigation and routing systems. The company plans to source all its routing, tracking and mapping requirements from the single provider.
