BSA appoints new CEO

BSA Limited (ASX:BSA) has appointed Stephen Nash as its new CEO.

The company, which provides satellite and telecom installation services, said Nash will assume his new role in early 2011. Director Mark Lowe has taken over from Mark Foley as interim CEO in the meantime.

Lowe will step down as managing director on October 26, instead taking on the part-time role of a project executive.

Nash is a former CEO of maintenance services provider Metric Group.

He has 20 years experience in senior management positions with a number of organisations, including project management company Transfield Services and integrated services company Spotless Group.

The transition was announced at the company's AGM. Speaking at the meeting, Lowe said the company was “in great shape” in FY11. “Not only in terms of our balance sheet, but in terms the team in place to move the company forward.

Chairman Ross Johnston added that BSA intended to focus on cash generation in FY11.

BSA shares closed 8.51% higher at $0.255.
