Webfirm's Adslot unit wins first EU deal

Internet technology and marketing company Webfirm (ASX:WFM) has scored the first European customer for its Adslot advertising sales automation services.

The company on Wednesday announced its Adslot division had signed up France's online real-estate portal Seloger.

The contract, and future European customers, will be managed by Adslot's newly-established UK operation.

Webfirm said the Seloger Adslot platform will go live in France in 1Q12. It said Seloger is the fifth largest real estate portal in the world by revenue.

Webfirm in December won a similar contract to provide the platform for Australia's Realestate.com.au.

It also signed a deal with Carsales.com.au (ASX:CRZ) in October.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. WFM shares grew 3.45% during Wednesday's trading to $0.150.

Webfirm acquired Adslot for 171.4 million shares in a deal which closed in February 2010.
