MobileActive (ASX:MBA) has won a deal to become the exclusive mobile advertising technology provider for Multi Channel Network (MCN).
MCN is a joint venture between Foxtel, AUSTAR, Premier Media Group and XYZ Networks. It serves the advertising needs of around 50 national STV channels and 75 channel and other websites, including Mobile Foxtel from Telstra.
Under the agreement MobileActive's business division, Mobile Embrace, will provide mobile ad serving platform Mpression.
Mpression, developed by MobileActive's majority held joint venture 4th Screen Advertising Australia. includes a media planning tool designed to help advertisers target different demographics.
MobileActive will also supply its Kilrush Site Builder developer tool.
Mobile Embrace said its products have been developed as part of its exclusive technology license and partnership with UK mobile and digital communications business Mobile Interactive Group.
Financial terms of the deal were not provided. MBA shares fell 14.29% to $0.030 during Thursday's trading.
