MobileActive (ASX:MBA) has won a mobile interactive services deal with Paramount Home Entertainment.
The deal will see MobileActive's business-to-business division, Mobile Embrace, provide promotional mobile web publishing and hosting services for an initial six DVD releases.
Mobile Embrace said the deal covers communication with loyalty program members, including via SMS messaging. Parent company MobileActive in April secured a direct carrier agreement for SMS services with the last of Australia's major mobile operators.
Mobile Embrace also offers mobile advertising services, and said the Paramount deal will be expanded to cover mobile ads at a later date.
The first titles covered in the agreement are Thor, Transformers 3, Kung Fu Panda 2, Cowboys and Aliens, Super 8 and Captain America.
MBA shares ended Thursday's trading 6.9% higher at $0.031.
