Twitter was down for some users today.
The micro-blogging site reported around 10:30 ET today that some users were unable to access Twitter. The report did not say how many users were affected or what time the partial outage began. Twitter said its engineers are working to fix the problem.
The site suffered two other partial outages this month. According to Twitter's Status page, some users were unable to access the site on Jan. 21. On Jan. 16, some users had trouble with both Twitter.com and its mobile app.
Users, either frustrated with Twitter's downtime or poking fun at the crash, quickly took to the site once it was back up.
"When Twitter goes down, does anyone else think "Ha! I'll just tweet something funny about how annoying this is", and then realise and cry?" tweeted @TomChivers.
And @OhNoSheTwitnt, joked in her tweet, "What'd everyone do to avoid talking to people while Twitter was down I ate an orange and posted a picture of it on Instagram."
As of 11:10 a.m. ET, Twitter had not resolved the problem for all users.
