WorkCover SA to recruit new CIO

To replace outgoing technology head, Gavin Woolford

WorkCover South Australia has commenced the search for a CIO to manage its large IT team following the resignation of Gavin Woolford.

Woolford has resigned after seven years at the organisation to pursue a career in accounting, according to a WorkCover SA spokesperson.

“There has been strong early interest from candidates around Australia indicating that South Australia and WorkCover are attractive to high calibre candidates,” the spokesperson said.

The salary package for the role is in the “very high $100’s”, according to the job advertisement on Seek.

WorkCover SA said it is looking for a CIO with a focus on team skills development and mentoring, as well as experience in supporting large mission-critical systems.
