Circadian appoints new CFO

Appointment comes days after Circadian chief claims Australian CFO candidate pool is awash with talent

Just days after claiming the CFO talent pool in Australia is strong, ASX-listed biotechnology firm Circadian (ASX:CIR) has announced Steve Zammit as its new CFO and company secretary.

Zammit spent the past three years as CFO of the Oliver Hume Real Estate Group, and has more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles. His resume also includes small and large Australian companies such as ASX-listed Molpo Energy, where he was general manager of commercial and finance and company secretary. He assumes the role at Circadian effective immediately and replaces Susan Madden, who finishes up at the end of February.

Last week, Circadian CEO Robert Klupacs claimed the Australian CFO candidate pool was strong after receiving 40 applications for the post in conjunction with a recruitment firm.
