Black Friday: Microsoft slashing Surface, laptop, Xbox prices

Microsoft has revealed a slew of Black Friday deals, including big cuts intended to move its iPad rival, the Surface Pro 3 tablet.

Microsoft's 2014 Black Friday deals technically start to phase in on Monday, Nov. 24, with the rest in effect by Thanksgiving Day.

Among the Microsoft Store deals:

*Between $100 and $150 off Surface Pro 3 tablets, with the discounts based on the model and processor. (A Surface Pro 3 with 128GB of storage and an Intel i5 processor typically goes for $1,000, but will have $100 shaved off.)

*An Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012 64GB Signature Edition 2-in-1 PC will start at $300 (down from $350) as of Nov. 24, while a Dell 28-inch Ultra HD 4K Monitor plus Surface Pro 3 Docking Station Bundle will cost $500, down from $700.

*Microsoft is knocking $20 off of Xbox One bundles, which include the new Assassin's Creed Unity game.
