Welcome to the CIO50 - nominations now open

CIO Australia wants to hear your business transformation, innovation and leadership stories

CIO Australia has officially opened the inaugural CIO50, where the country’s top 50 most effective and strategic CIOs will be recognised for delivering rapid change across their organisations while excelling in business transformation, innovation and leadership.

With nominations running from June 15, 2015 until August 15, 2016, the list will recognise and applaud CIOs who are driving innovative technology‐driven projects that have comprehensively transformed business processes.

Nominees can either answer the questions and send back directly via email, or enter online via Survey Monkey on the CIO Australia website. For online entries, please click on this link.

“There’s no better time to be a CIO. Technology is so pervasive across Australian organisations, and now more than ever, CIOs are at the forefront of innovations that will power business now and well into the future,” said CIO Australia editor Byron Connolly.

“This is why Australia’s leading enterprise technology and business publication, CIO, is giving you this exclusive opportunity to tell your transformation, innovation, and leadership stories. I am excited to give you the opportunity to be part of our inaugural CIO50, a list showcasing the best and brightest CIOs for 2016,” Connolly said.

Nomination questions showcase three key pillars: business transformation; innovation; and leadership.

“We want to know how you have used technology to transform your operations, created unique innovations that have provided competitive advantage, and how you wield influence across your organisation and its leadership team,” he said.

CIO Australia has assembled a panel of 17 industry leaders – former CIOs from government, industry and academia, current CEOs at big name organisations, and leading IT industry analysts – to judge this year’s list.“I am personally looking forward to receiving and judging each entry and unveiling this elite list of IT and business leaders in November. So get nominating and I wish everyone the best of luck,” he said.
