The Australian Medical Association’s chief information officer, Colin O'Sullivan, will depart the organisation next month.
O'Sullivan joined the AMA in 2011, replacing Michael Manning.
The CIO is preparing to return to Ireland for family reasons. O'Sullivan’s responsibilities include ICT for both the Canberra-based AMA and the organisation’s Sydney-based publishing arm, AMPCo.
Before his role as CIO at the AMA, O'Sullivan held a variety of IT roles at organisations including Keynet, A.S.K Learning, LexisNexis Butterworths and OpenJaw Technologies.
The AMA is currently on the hunt for a new group chief information officer, who will be a member of both the AMA and AMPCo senior leadership teams.
