The West Australian Public Transport Authority is rolling out an enterprise content management solution to more than 600 users.
The contract with Objective Corporation was awarded under the preferred supplier panel for electronic document record management systems (EDRMS) across the WA government.
It is potentially worth $A2.3 million.
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) provides a broad range of public transport rail, bus, road coach and ferry services to the public of Western Australia.
The agency is also responsible for planning, design and construction of new public transport infrastructure.
Objective will replace four existing legacy systems, providing a single corporate information repository that will underpin PTA's information management and business processes.
PTA EDRMS project manager, Rosemarie Parker, said the system will ensure integrity of information and increase auditability and transparency.
"It will also meet the legislative requirements of the WA State Records Act 2000," she said.
Objective CEO, Tony Walls, said recent contract wins has led to an expansion of staff and a move to larger premises in Perth.
"This contract cements our strong commitment to WA and improves our already positive track record in the state," he said.
