Education expert Denise Bradley to join SEEK board

SEEK (ASX:SEK), operator of the seek.com.au online job portal, has appointed a new director to its board.

Emeritus professor Denise Bradley will join the board as an independent director. Bradley is heavily involved in the Australian educational sector, having served in national education policy groups for more than two decades.

In 2008, she chaired the expert panel which undertook a national review of higher education, and she is currently a director of the Australian College of Educators. She was also Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of South Australia between 1997 and 2007.

Bradley currently serves as chair of the South Australian Training and Skills Commission, and as members of the Education Investment Fund Advisory Board and the Australian National Commission for UNESCO.

“Professor Bradley’s appointment is invaluable in terms of strengthening the Board’s skills and expertise in the education sector, which is an increasingly important part of the SEEK business,” chairman Bob Watson said.
