Telstra launches M2M self-service platform

Telstra (ASX:TLS) has launched a web-based self-service platform for the development of wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) services.

The Telstra Wireless M2M Control Centre will be available from tomorrow through Telstra Business and Telstra Enterprise and Government, the company said.

Telstra has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement with M2M technology provider Jasper Wireless for the offering.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. TLS shares are today trading 1.5% higher at $2.700.
