Digislide reaches VSDN marketing milestone

Projection technology developer Digislide (ASX:DGI) has executed a marketing co-operation agreement for its Virtual Steaming Distribution Network (VSDN) technology.
The company said it had met all the prerequisites to commence the agreement with global VSDN licensors Wise Sight Technologies.
These include establishing technical facilities and hiring the personnel to conduct demonstrations of Wise Sight's IPTV technologies, which Digislide is now authorised to commercialise as part of its VSDN development.
The demonstrations involve broadcasting copyright free video resources from the South Australia Tourism Commission, Concordia College and Paradise Community Church.
The company said it had streamed these resources, as well as a continuous live stream of traffic along Cavan Road, in Australia, China, Canada and the US over the last three months.
Demonstration facilities are expected to be established in Canada in late April, and the USA in the next three or four months, Digislide added.
Digislide incorporated subsidiary VSDN Australia in February last year as the vehicle to commercialise the technologies in Australia and New Zealand, and negotiated terms of the agreement with Wise Sight in August.
VSDN is a streaming technology which Digislide claims eliminates the buffering issues often accompanying online video.
The company says the technology is suitable for video delivery to televisions, computers, tablets and mobile phones.
DGI shares grew 2.78% on Monday to $0.185.
