Welcome to the CIO50 2018
Welcome to the third annual CIO50 list for 2018 where we recognise Australia’s top 50 technology and digital chiefs. These executives are driving real technology-led innovations that are changing their way their organisations operate.
In 2018, judges scored entries based on questions under two pillars: Innovation and leadership. The judging panel was looking specifically for unique innovations initiated by tech and digital chiefs and their teams and entrants in this year’s list certainly delivered.
There are 31 new faces this year – most entrants are CIOs – across several market sectors including utilities, financial services, education, healthcare, retail, government, not-for-profit, resources and IT.
Featured projects are making use of technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, data analytics, and cyber security.
