Independent information security consulting and testing firm, stratsec, has signed a formal agreement with CyberSecurity Malaysia, an agency under the purview of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Malaysia.
It is the first time an Australian company or a commercially-based security evaluation facility has set up operations with the Malaysian Common Criteria Certification and Evaluation Scheme (MyCC Scheme).
Under the agreement, stratsec will initially deliver 14 IT security evaluations of Malaysian IT products between July and December 2010, with further extensions into 2011 onwards.
