Sourcing industry awards announced

AMP, CSC and ANAO among the winners

The Sourcing Industry Awards were presented in Sydney this week with AMP and CSC being awarded the "best sourcing relationship" title.

Independent judge, Don Easter, said AMP and CSC worked through a number of challenges together and deserved to be recognised for this reason.

"AMP and CSC demonstrated a relationship based on a strategic partnership which achieved strong results. This included working through difficult challenges with tight schedules and urgency to change, with vastly improved service due to high-quality systems and processes. Good planning led to better execution," Easter said in a statement.

Unisys was awarded the "service provider excellence award" for its 2005-2009 ICT modernisation project with the Australian National Audit OFfice (ANAO) and AMP's Ruwani Balalla was crowned the "best young sourcing talent".

The awards are organised by Technology Partners International as part of the Sourcing Leadership Exchange Conference and recognise the relationships between companies and government organisations with external providers of IT and business solutions.
