Juniper Networks names new VP for A/NZ

Mark Iles will take on the role, succeeding Shaun Page

Juniper Networks has appointed Mark Iles as the new vice president for its Australia and New Zealand business.

The role will be based in Sydney and will require Iles to lead the company and make the most of opportunities for growth in the service provider and enterprise markets.

Juniper Networks vice president worldwide sales, John Morris, said Iles’ industry experience has given him an “intimate” understanding of the marketplaces in both Australia and New Zealand to which he will bring a customer-led approach.

Iles will succeed Shaun Page who has moved to the United States to take on the role of Juniper Networks’ global vice president for service provider alliances.

Previously, Iles held a chief executive role for leisure industry provider, Centaman Systems, and management roles with the Australian arms of Vodafone and Microsoft.

“This is a great time to be taking up the reins in Australia and New Zealand and I look forward to helping provide even greater support and competitive advantage to Juniper’s customers,” Iles said in a statement.
