Business solutions provider UXC Limited (ASX:UXC) has won two separate contracts to provide electricity meter reading services for EnergyAustralia and Integral Energy.
UXC said the contracts, which have a combined potential value of $28.7 million, were awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Skilltech Consulting Services.
The EnergyAustralia contract has a two-year term with two optional two-year extensions. The Integral Energy contract has a three-year initial term with two one-year options.
Skilltech is now supplying 100% of outsourced electricity meter reading in the Sydney region – and over 70% of the available meter reading market in NSW across electricity, gas and water.
