NetComm wins supply deal with Rogers

Broadband technology developer NetComm (ASX:NTC) has won a deal to supply its Mobile Broadband Gateway products to Canada's Rogers Communications.

NetComm said Rogers planned to deploy the HSPA Wi-Fi gateways - which include wireless LAN, a HSPA module and voice capabilities - on its HSPA network.

NetComm managing director David Stewart said the deal represented a milestone in its expansion plans for North America.

The vendor won its first its first North American contract, with fellow Canadian operator Telus, in May.
