Virgin Blue CFO resigns

Virgin Blue Group of Airlines (ASX:VBA) today announced the resignation of CFO, Keith Neate.

Neate has been with the company for over seven years and will remain with the airline until March 31, 2011. He cited personal reasons for the move, including spending more time with his family before pursuing other opportunities.

John Borghetti, CEO and MD thanked Neate for his work in “steering the company through some extremely difficult times and most recently the global financial crisis” and acknowledged the CFOs decision to work towards a seamless handover over the next 3 months.
