Quickflix and AAPT have signed an agreement to allow Quickflix to scale its movie and TV streaming in Australia and New Zealand.
AAPT’s Extreme Performance network will provide cloud-based content and delivery for Quickflix.
The Australian Financial Review reported the deal is worth less than $10 million.
The move is part of Quickflix’s streamlining program to reduce and rebase its costs.
“AAPT is providing the level of service and flexibility that an innovative company like ours needs,” Stephen Langsford, CEO at Quickflix, said in a statement.
“They had a clear understanding of our growth strategies and a willingness to work with us as partners to help us achieve our growth and success.”
