Circadian technologies managing director Robert Klupacs has claimed the quality of CFO candidates in Australia is strong, as the biotechnology and pharmaceutical company looks to fill the post in its executive ranks.
The comment came during an interview with the Australian Financial Review, where Klupacs discussed his plans for quickly appointing a new CFO following the department of Susan Madden, who will quit her post as Circadian’s CFO and company secretary at the end of February.
Klupacs has already made a formal offer to his first choice as new finance chief, just three weeks after Madden announced her resignation to take up a commercial role at South East Water.
Klupacs said he was cheered by the number of good quality CFO candidates on the job market, after working with recruiter Who group on a list of 40 applicants, six of which were interviewed.
