Craig Wishart
Former UXC Group IT chief, Craig Wishart, has joined professional services firm KPMG as its Australian CIO.
He is replacing Anthony Stevens, who now leads the firm’s digital services team in the newly-created role of chief digital officer, KPMG said on Tuesday.
Wishart was CIO and CTO at UXC Group for almost two years where he had global responsibility for the ICT function. Prior to that, he was CIO and executive general manager for customer services at Service Stream.
He has held various executive IT roles at ANZ Bank, Telstra, Rio Tinto, and Sensis. He is also an advisory member of the CIO Executive Council in Australia and New Zealand.
“Craig is very well placed to lead our IT services team, with his extensive experience and cross-industry exposure. He also has significant global expertise and is highly regarded for his cloud platform, security and risk and ICT transformation capabilities,” Damien Templeton, CFO at KPMG Australia said in a statement.
“Under Anthony’s leadership, the firm has implemented an unprecedented amount of change and transformed what and how IT supports the firm. This transformation will now be accelerated under Craig, with technology key to supporting and managing our firm’s growth and development.”
Wishart commenced the role this month and is based in Melbourne.
